As a project of the UCR Library, the Scholars Lab will be located in the Rivera Library, and this website serves as a public workspace for its development.
The information collected here is neither final nor definitive and is constantly in flux. This digital workspace will eventually be archived within the official website for the Scholars Lab.
The beanbag chair featured above is in an exhibit at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, CA. The beanbag chair was part of the culture of Silicon Valley in the 1970s, providing a more casual setting than could be found in computer industry offices on the East Coast.
